SWRSL/SWRSA Contact/Information – Only approved individuals are allowed to go to, or contact either of these offices directly. All questions or applications must go through the OMSC office, the head coach or the president. This is an overview of common items only, information in regards to further SWRSA League rules, regulations, deadlines and fines can be found at http://www.swrsaleague.ca/.
Regular Season Game Cancellations/Reschedule – All game cancellations/reschedules must follow league procedures. To obtain OMSC field availability please contact the field coordinator at email@example.com
Regular Season Games – Reporting of Game Results – All teams must report Game Results online. Failure to Report Game Results within the required number of days will result in a fine payable by the team.
Regular Season Games – No Show/Forfeiting Regularly Scheduled Games - Any team wishing to forfeit a game must send an email to the office to advise that they will be forfeiting a game including he game number, the teams involved, the game date, time & field location. No game is forfeit or cancelled unless communicated by the league. Any team who does not show for a game or forfeits will be fined by league, and may be charged for the opposing teams costs including field rental and referee fees.
Equipment – Flags – Flags will be given out to the head coach if they are required at the beginning of the season after signing a receipt. They are to be returned after the completion of the season and the receipt should be cancelled. If flags need replacing during a contact the Equipment Coordinator. The team will be charged for any lost flags.
Equipment - Lights & Equipment at Rotary – Keys will be given out to the head coach if they required at the beginning of the season after signing a receipt. Please note that the lights must be turned off at the end of the evening games to avoid additional charges by the Town. Any overage charges will be charged back to the team for not complying. Keys are to be returned after the completion of the season and receipt should be cancelled.
Regular Season Games – Game Sheets - Both teams must print 4 copies of the game sheets on the special yellow carbon paper provided by SWRSL . This is to be handed to the referee 15 minutes before game time. Failure to comply with this will result in a fine payable by the team. Changes to this will be posted online soon due to changes discussed at the last AGM.
Regular Season Games – Rosters – A copy of the OSA roster will be supplied to the team by the office after every addition/deletion to the roster.
Regular Season Games – Referee Payments – Referees are to be paid at the beginning of a game in cash by the home team. The rate of pay is set by SWRSL in the Manual handed out at the beginning of the season and should be paid to each referee position in exact change. OMSC will issue a cheque to each team at the beginning of the season to cover the cost of the referees. Referees will be paid ½ fees if they arrive for a game and it is not played.
