Exhibition Games

Exhibition Games Information – If SWRSA is given less than 48 hours for approvals in regards to Exhibition Games a rush charge will be added and payable by the team.  All participating players & team officials must have active registrations and validated books.

Hosting Exhibition Games Information – To host an exhibition game there are a number of steps that must be followed.  Firstly you must make arrangements for a field or rent your own field (see instructions under Fields) and arrange for referees with the Head Referee.  Contact the team you would like to play and ensure that they have permission from their club to attend and are available on the set date.  All costs for exhibition games are payable by the team.  Also note that a maximum of 3 other teams can attend exhibition games – 5 teams constitutes a completion and must become a tournament.  Teams from different clubs cannot hold joint practices without first processing an Exhibition game request.

Instructions for Hosting Exhibition Games (Both teams within SWRSA) – The hosting team should initiate an email as follows below to their club in exactly the same format –

Exhibition Game: (Day) (Date) (home team club) U(age)(Boys or Girls) v (traveling team club) U(age)(B or G) @ (time) (AM or PM)  (field name) field

And indicate the email address for the club of the traveling team. 

The home club will approve and forward to the visiting club for approval.  The visiting club will approve and forward to SWRSA for SWRSA approval.  The approval process can take up to 3 business days to be processed by SWRSA.  When approved SWRSA will notify both clubs of the approval.  OMSC will forward the approval to the coach and manager.

Instructions for Hosting Exhibition Game (Either team outside of SWRSA)Obtain a form to Host an exhibition at http://ctms.ontariosoccer.net.  Click on the Application to Host Exhibition Game (AHEG) and fully complete the form.  One form can be used to obtain approval to host multiple exhibition games.  The approval process can take up to 7 business days to be processed by SWRSA.   When approved SWRSA will supply a copy of the Approval Receipt that will be forwarded to the coach and the manager who must arrange to get this to the opposing team so they can apply for a permit to Travel.  

Instructions for Attending Exhibition Games (Both teams within SWRSA) – Arrange to have the hosting club initiate an email to the OMSC office indicating the teams playing, the date, time and location of the exhibition game.  The club will approve and forward to SWRSA for approval.  The approval process can take up to 3 business days to be processed by SWRSA.  When approved SWRSA will notify both clubs of the approval.  OMSC will forward the approval to the coach and manager.

Instructions for Attending Exhibition Games (Either team outside of SWRSA)An ATF is required after the hosting team has obtained approval to Host.  Obtain an ATF from http://ctms.ontariosoccer.net.  Click on the ATF, fully complete the form and upload a copy of the approve AHEG from the Hosting club.  One form can be used to obtain approval to travel to multiple Exhibition Games on the same date(s).   The approval process can take up to 7 days to be processed by SWRSA. 

Day of Exhibition Game  – A Game Sheet must be supplied by each team to the Referee prior to the start of the game. The list must include all participating team officials and players, including OSA numbers and jersey numbers.

After Exhibition Game – The Game Sheet must be submitted to SWRSA within 48 hours following the game, along with any subsequent disciplinary forms.
